Gathering the information, sorting it into the correct categories and writing my thoughts on certain things I got information on was the steps I took into writing my paper to make sure I had everything I need to make a good paper. Writing this paper and researching about it, it brought to light that this is really a big controversy in our society today. Gender inequality is such a big thing now that women have become independent and proud I would say. It’s a big issue that people are trying to address and get people’s attention on.
A rhetorical analysis I learned is my opinion on a situation I have decided to talk about. It is a full paper of me in my own words braking down something that I have heard, seen and read. It is an “analysis”, my breaking down what I have read. A rhetorical analysis is like a long summary.
Writing this paper showed me that I am good at writing things that require me to give my opinion. I love to talk and I love to talk about what I think the meaning of something is. I feel like if I have enough information and I know if I am for it or against it, I can create an argument about it that is good and you understand it. I feel like giving an opinion on something shows me what type of person you are. I could talk for days on a topic that I care about and understand.
To stay on topic I made sure I read and reread what I wrote over and over again to make sure I was on topic with what my chapter was trying to explain. I made sure I understood what each chapter was supposed to mean and gathered enough information to back it up. Having too much information I feel is better than not having enough. So I made sure I had a lot of it and put what I knew would be good to write about and what the reader would understand and be interested in.
For future papers I will make sure I wrote the same amount for each topic because I feel like I didn’t write enough for some of the topics I had. It made it seem like I didn’t know what to talk about but I really didn’t have anything else to say on the specific topic. I am proud of the paper I wrote I just wish I would of did more so I know I would have a good grade. When you write a good amount it shows you know what you are writing about and I feel like I did not accomplish that with such little I wrote on some of my topics but other than that I liked what I did with my paper.
